Highlights

I am on the faculty of Vermont College for their newly developed Master of Fine Arts in Writing for Children. This is a low-residency program which allows faculty and students to spend limited periods on campus and do their primary work by correspondence.

While much of my recent work has been in picture books and easy readers--and I continue to write for younger children--I am also currently working on a Dear America novel, and I have just completed a novella called Runt, Story of a Wolf Pup.
