Highlights

The first four books (1990) are a product of facts and trivia that I had been collecting for years. These books are cleverly illustrated with humorous pictures. Kids love them as well as adults. I present at Young Writers conferences and do Artist-in-Residence programs. I have sold stories and articles to Highlights for Children, Girl's Life, and U*S*Kids among others.

Presentations

1. A favorite with students is my unit on how to put SSSTT into their writing. This is a fun hands-on presentation that encourages them to bring realism to their writing by adding the five senses to what they write. Sight, Sound, Smell, Taste and Touch.

2. Kids love hearing the story of how I came to write The Mystery of the Doll in the Window and enjoy seeing the doll that I bring with for "show and tell." Small group sizes preferred.
