Presentations I try to demystify the creative process by showing the steps of writing and illustrating a cook, from its beginning as a raw idea to the finished text and illustrations. Children enjoy watching me quickly draw characters and develop visual stories on an easel pad. I can also lead students through a hands-on workshop where they write and illustrate their own book. With older students, drawing from my experience in advertising design, I like to talk about the value of creativity in the business world. My presentation will be tailored to the group. An educational activity guide and poster is also available. And, yes, I DO have a pirate costume! |
