Presentations I like to read Holly The Christmas Collie using a powerpoint slide show that helps keep children interested. The book contains 73 color illustrations that are included in the powerpoint slide show. I am happy to read all or only a part of the story as time and young attention spans allow. Holly the toy Collie may accompany me to readings. Because the story is based on the true story of a pet learning to adjust to new surroundings and trying to be accepted by new owners, children may also like to discuss similar experiences with pets of their own. I am also happy to discuss the writing and publishing process from start to finish if there are any young authors in the crowd. I can bring copies of the book for sale at a discount at the readings and will be happy to sign them at that time. I can also provide flyers for children to take home to their parents. |
