Highlights Although I have a teaching degree in English and History, what I know about teaching children comes from my own experiences teaching classes and doing presentations for over 20 years to audiences from nursery age to adults. I am fluent in Spanish and I am willing to do presentations in either English or Spanish. As a mother, I know the influence parents have on children, and I enjoy teaching parents as well as children. I have had articles published in many magazines including Highlights for Children and The Friend, as well as magazines for grownups. For seven years I wrote a weekly newspaper column.
