The Remarkable & Very True Story of Lucy & Snowcap. Marshall Cavendish, 2008.

Highlights

I've been teaching literature and writing since 2001 at the University of St. Thomas, and I've taught children's/youth creative writing courses at The Loft and in the community. I live in St. Paul with my two sons, and besides reading a ton of books, I like to cook, practice martial arts, and hang out with my kids. I love talking with kids and adults about writing.

Awards

Remarkable & Very True Story of Lucy & Snowcap: Kirkus starred review; Kirkus "Best of 2008" issue on children's literature.

Loft Mentor Series award winner, 2006-07.

Presentations

Please see my website for specific information on presentations. I love to talk about revision—my favorite part of the writing process! And I enjoy workshops on generating ideas for fiction. I can work with you to create a topic that would fit your group.

Fees

Negotiable, but generally $200 for a library or school visit within the Metro area.
