Highlights Pat has been a teacher for over thirty years, and presently teaches American history to students at Black Hawk Middle School in Eagan, MN. She is particularly fond of using music, costumes, picture books and lots of activity when she teaches. For many years, she was also a costumed interpreter at Historic Fort Snelling in the Twin Cities. She enjoys making appearances as various historical characters, along with her husband, David Geister. The two of them are also adjunct instructors at Hamline University, where they teach a course for teachers on Minnesota history. Working on B is for Battle Cry together was a dream come true! Pat lives with her husband and daughter in Minneapolis. |

Presentations We do many presentations as historical characters such as Seth and Mary Eastman, George and Clara Catlin, and William and Mary LeDuc. We do readings (which includes singing) of B is for Battle Cry: A Civil War Alphabet, sometimes with musician friends who accompany us. |
