PUBLIC LIBRARIES

County and city libraries each handle postings and hirings differently. Positions may be posted in library facilities, county human resources offices, local newspapers or professional journals. Most require that the applicant submit a standard application form which is available from the particular county or city. The "Community Information" sections at the beginning of the yellow pages of the Minneapolis and the St. Paul telephone directories list county and city libraries and branches.
